The coast of California
is the best place in the world to grow strawberries. The
western Ocean exposure and prevailing winds from the Pacific
insulate our strawberry growing fields from extreme temperature
conditions. California’s warm sunny days and cool
foggy nights, sandy soil and mild winters create perfect
conditions for growing Pacific Gold Farms strawberries.
In order to produce strawberries early
in the year, we have acreage in Southern California’s
prime region of Orange County.
In late spring, when the weather in Southern California
begins to get too warm for continued ideal growing conditions,
we move our operations to the Central Coast in Watsonville
and Salinas.
