Pacific Gold Farms began farming organically grown strawberries in 1999. To be recognized as certified organic, the soil must be farmed without the use of man-made chemicals for three full years.

Our organic farms receive certification from Quality Assurance International, a certifying Board that utilizes criteria and guidelines established by the USDA national organic program. Pacific Gold Farms partners with Quality Assurance International for organic certification because they maintain the highest standards for organic farming in the United States. We are proud to say that both our fruiting fields and cooler operations are certified organic.

Organic farming remains a very challenging process for farmers today, requiring increased innovation and day-to-day diligence in the field. However, it has become more of a mainstream practice for Pacific Gold Farms — producing high quality and flavorful fruit.

By offering organic strawberries, we can provide additional choices for consumers. Our organic strawberries are available in a variety of pack styles throughout the growing season including eight-ounce containers, one-pound containers and the traditional pint baskets.
