Event to Offer Creative and Technical Insight
into Latest High-Definition Technology
RALEIGH, N.C. (May 26, 2006) – Serious Robots, one of the Southeast’s top commercial postproduction companies, is partnering with The WH Platts Company to host a seminar that will explore the new capabilities of high-definition technology. The event titled “HD Workflow in a Pod-Shaped World” will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006, from 5pm - 8pm at Trailblazer Studios, home of Serious Robots, 1610 Midtown Place, Raleigh, N.C.
“This seminar is for agency and corporate creatives and independent producers who are dealing with the changes brought about by new media and exploding distribution channels,” said Bill Blankinship, Serious Robots executive producer. “HD has provided a bigger canvas for the industry, and we want to give our creative community the opportunity to discover its possibilities.”
The WH Platts Company, representing leading manufacturers of video production products, will co-sponsor the HD seminar. Representatives will be present to offer hands-on demonstrations of Panasonic, Sony and Canon HD production equipment.
